can you speak with the admin for netA? maybe s/he blocks a range of IPs
which includes the repo you are trying to refresh..

short: if _you_ don't own the net access point (and pay for the
bandwidth used ) you have to accept the fact that whoever does'(own/pay)
has the right to restrict access to certain IPs, and the establish the
speed, and quantity and and and and...

Yes the other repos are fine on network A. On network A, I am unable to
refresh packman and libdvdcss. When I log into network B, all repos are
fine, and I am able to refresh them, including packman & libdvdcss.
Something in network A not allowing the refresh?

    Hi
Are the DNS servers the same on Network A and Network B?

I do not have access to either of the administrators. I would be guessing if I knew if they were on separate servers. The two networks are at different locations, i.e. one is in the building that I stay in, and the other is where I work.

    Hi
If your getting your address via DHCP, then check in /etc/resolv.conf

You can manually set the DNS servers as well...

Do you have to use a proxy at either site?

Short time ago, finished zypper removal then re-install of VLC Videolan on openSUSE 12.1 without problems.

Just then zypper install of repositories then VLC: VideoLAN Client - Gnome Access Modules on openSUSE 12.2 without problems.

Set repositories first with priority to 100 so as to avoid clashes with openSUSE.
