Thread: Keyboard problems running as a VMWare guest

Default Keyboard problems running as a VMWare guest

When I run as a VMWare Player guest (Win7 host), I sometimes lose keystrokes (several times a minute) or have repeat keys like thissssssssssssssssss (not as often).

This doesn't happen with WinXP guest on the same VMWare installation, or Suse running outside VMWare on the sam hardware, so I suspect the combination of Suse guest + VMWare Win7 host.

No fix from me, but I will concur and say that this behaviour has been
around for quite awhile. I often end up adjusting the keyboard repeat
sensitivity as a workaround. Look in Personal Settings (configure Desktop)
    > Input Devices in the Keyboard section. Think it's called 'repeat delay'.
