Default Rekonq doesn't remember visited links

Rekonq doesn't remember links that I have visited between uses of program. - If I click a link on a web page, the link turns from blue to purple. If I close then re-open Rekonq, all of the links are blue again. I've looked for a setting to change Rekonq's behavior, but I can't seem to find it. Both Konqueror and Firefox remember visited links between uses.

    openSuse 12.2, 64 bit, KDE 4.9.5, Rekonq 2.0-37.1

    Thanks

Not in private browsing mode. Sites / links that I visit show up in History.

This has been going on for quite awhile across 2 64 bit and 1 32 bit openSuse boxes (2-3 months at least). I thought I would check to see if I was missing some setting before I enter a bug report.

Most of my browser related problems get fixed after i backup old profile folders and create new profile and work with new profiles.
This was a problem with the profile corruption in mozilla/gecko line of browsers
Can we check if your problem exists in new profile too.
Simpler way is to create a test user(new user profile) and login into test user and check whether rekonq has similar problems

This article says this about Rekonq

    Code:
This application aims to make organizing tabs into sessions possible by supplying an easy to use GUI known as "panorama view". This feature enables users to modify the tabs in a session, save a session, and load sessions. A session is a group of tabs.
If it can do that then why it can't remembers url access history across multiple sessions is bewildering

Also i just noticed that rekonq has not yet reached version 1 in default openSUSE repos. I would stick with a more mature browser for the time being :-)

Have you tried version Rekonq 2.0 from this repo http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...:/Release:/49/ ?

edit :-sorry did not notice your version
