    Default PHP extensions

    what can i use to host .php files (except apache) so i can view it on firefox.

    Opensuse 11.4 KDE

    I assume you want apache to run the .php file and show the result?

    If so you need the php5 and apache2-mod_php5 packages.
    Other php5 packages are AFAIK optional, but some are recommended like php5-mysql.

    I do not realy get what you want here. As I read it, it is a bit exceptional. Can you please explain better what you want and maybe even why you want that (that will let people better understand you and thus be able to help you).
