Thread: Icon window manager taskbar program

Default Icon window manager taskbar program

I'm looking for a way to may the open windows show just an icon on the taskbar instead of the icon/text/rectangle that's default. Something similar to Windows 7. I'm just looking for some suggestion on apps; can Smooth Tasks do this?

    Hello,

Smooth Tasks definitely does this job. It's not a launcher of any kind, but for having the icon in the task manager like in win7 and the ability to peak between windows as well, smooth tasks does a real good job.

    Take Care,
    Ian

P.S. It can be found in the KDE Extra repository.
