    Question You are running what now

    I am so curious what all of the OpenSUSE people are running on the their desktops. Of course i mean the DE you are running and not the apps.

    If you can, maybe say what version you are running and pro's or contra's if any.

    At the moment i am running KDE 4.5 and its been great so far. But i am looking into Gnome 3 since it is actually a needier desktop (IMO).

    Anyway, if there is a very different desktop you are running and its NOT included, please tell what you are running.

    Thanks
    +++ ATH0

    I'm running KDE 4.6.0 at present. I also have XFCE and LXDE installed, with gnome 2 also on one computer (and gnome 3 on a test partition).

    For normal use, I prefer KDE 4, thoug XFCE and LXDE are also reasonable.

    I was a gnome user and disliked KDE 3 for several years. But I don't like the direction gnome has been taking, and I switched over to KDE 4 almost a year ago.

    On my laptop 11.1 with a modified kernel and KDE3.5 (because I work with it).
    On my home PC: 11.3 with KDE 4.4.1 (I think this is the one that comes with the original repositories). It serves me to see when a change for me will be indicated on the laptop. As you see, I am still with 3.5 on the laptop. The main blocker is the unsatisfactory core application KDE PIM that does not present the same beautiful functionality up to now as in 3.5
