    Default Uninstall Mint

    I installed Mint alongside my Windows/Suse installation and I want to now remove it, as Mint was the last to install every thing boots from the mint menu how do i safely remove it without effecting my original installation

    I am not an expert on mint, but there are a couple of things that might be helpful to know. In openSUSE run the following terminal command:

    Code:
    su -
    password:
    fdisk -l
    Post the output from the fdisk command. Next, it would be helpful to run the bash script findgrub and post its output.

    Your entry from the mint grub menu (/boot/grub/menu.lst) you use to start openSUSE would be nice to know as well, but it may be the same as used by openSUSE.

    It probably suffices to boot into openSUSE and use the YaST bootloader configuration to set itself and Windows up. That should wipe out the Mint bootloader configuration. Check that it boots using the openSUSE configuration and then Mint's partition can be reused.
