Looks like you're using the openJDK - I would dump that and use the Sun/
Oracle JDK instead as that's what Vuze is developed with.

I hesitated slightly in my previous reply because I do use Vuze but in Gnome.
I just download the archive from Vuze and extract the folder to my /home/username
manually crate a launcher in the menu pointing to the file azureus in the vuze folder. That's it.
Yes, I use Sun Java only.

So I just tested it on my KDE laptop _64
    Works just the same

I have it direct from vuze and it works fine
I can't find a repo version. What repo needs to be enabled for it to work? Or would you advise a direct download from the Vuze site and installing it from there?

How would I install that? Sun Java, do I just go get it from the repos?

OK so I installed Sun Java. Still getting it shut down on me. In terminal this comes up:

At this rate I might be sticking with KTorrent. However I do really like Vuze. I have a feeling it's a 64bit problem.

    Any idea's?

    Download it from here:
    Vuze Download

Extract the folder and place it in your user s /home
open the folder and then open a terminal there and start with:
    ./azureus

You can create a launcher with the menu editor to make it easier.

    Happy to help
