Default Cannot SSH into opensuse from windows

I m not sure if this is a Log-In problem

Basically, I have windows 7 64bit ultimate on one box, and has SUA (subsystem for unix application) installed

I have opened up TCP/UDP port 22 in windows firewall

Now, I can SSH into this windows machine from my opensuse 11.4 machine
and I can SSH into this windows from itself

However, Vice Versa does not work
Cannot SSH into opensuse from windows SUA

yet I can SSH into opensuse from itself

Also, SSH from another linux machine into this opensuse machine works
Windows cannot SSH to any linux machine I tested D:

This seems more like a windows problem to me, but SUA community forum is prtty much half dead.

So I ask the kind ppl here to give me some suggestions to figure out what exactly is wrong with my windows box

    thanks,
    openSUSE 11.4

Start by trying to telnet from Windows to port 22 on the openSUSE system.

If you can connect, then you'll need to look at the ssh communications to
    see what's wrong.

If you can't, check the firewall on the openSUSE box and make sure port
    22 is open.

If you're using a non-standard port, just substitute that for '22' above.

    BeyondSora;

I do not have any experience with SUA, but you might want to try PuTTY.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PuTTY or download here:
    http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

I have installed this on a VISTA machine and have no problem with ssh logins
    to OpenSuSe machines.

I had that issue with one XP setup where the Win machine was screwing up the
case of the user name unless I specified it explicitly in the Win client.
AIR, the (linux) logs will show the failed connection attempt and the user.

*2 - try PuTTY first, if that works, there is no firewall issues, but it's that particular SSH client.
