Default Expanding the HDD on Virtual Box

On OS 11.4, 64 bit box. Has anyone figured out how to make the VM hdd larger after the original one has gotten full? I've search the forum but all the searches come up with ways that confuse me.

Thanks I appreciate all your help.

I've done something similar to How to expand (grow) a VirtualBox VDI file and had success.

    Habitual,
After mucking around with this all day, I finally got it to work. First time it booted to XP just got a black screen. I then deleted it and started all over a couple of times and WALLA. I've now got XP up and running on the new 60 gig HHD, up from 10. I guess persistence pays off.
    Thanks for the help/link.

Glad it worked out. Yes, persistence does pay off.
