Thread: VirtualBox 4.08, any issues? Should I upgrade?

Default VirtualBox 4.08, any issues? Should I upgrade?

I'm currently using VirtualBox 3.2.8 right now (on OpenSUSE 11.3) and having zero problems. Is it worth upgrading to 4.08? What are the benefits (if any?) any issues with openSUSE?

→ Let me google that for you

Beside that: the current version of VirtualBox runs fine here (as always).

The changelog doesn't really help as it has thousands of things done since 3.2.8. I can't possibly parse through that to figure out the major differences.

Going from 3 to 4 you should read the release notes for 4. The USB support is now done with an addon, for one thing. Otherwise all my VMs work fine.

    Thanks! I'll look into that.
