Default OpenSUSE 11.4 x64 on HP Workstation xw3400 - doesn't boot afert installation - only fail save boot

    Hello,
I just installed OpenSuse 11.4 x64 on a HP xw 3400 Workstation. The installation went well, untill reboot was necessary. There it freeces after grub was finished. I'm not able tot hit the "ESC"-key to get to the text massages of the boot-process. Even the keybord is not available (USB-keybord).
The installation was finished by choosing the fail-save mode and there I'm only able to login as root. Other user are not available.
Could somone help me out to find the failure and the kernel module to not be looded?
SUSE 11.2 was working fine on that maschine.
    Great thanks in advance.
