What if I do not want to downlaod a *.iso file?

I do not have a DVD and the number of CD's it would take to d/l SUSE 11.4 is silly. Is there anyway to download the stuff to mky hard drive and run it from there? Thanks.

Hi
You can download a liveCD and install from that, then add applications as requires. There is also the net install which will download your requirements;
software.opensuse.org: Download openSUSE 11.4

Note: If you didn't migrate your openSUSE account in June 2020, you will need to create a new account with a different email!
