Default Suse branding > trying to replace with proprietary branding

This is an os not for distribution, but for a callcenter, how can I go about quickly replacing the suse logos, I would like to if possible be able to install already branded off of the livedisk - or even the prepacked.

    Let me know, thanks

During creation of a SUSE Studio image there is a tab where you can setup
your branding to some extent, at least the splash screens and such. Have
    you tried those?

Once your VM is built you can use the Test Drive feature, find the files
you want to modify, and change them by uploading new files or pulling them
down from the Internet. With that done you can end your Test Drive
session, select which changed files (the ones you added) you want to keep,
and then continue with creating the ISO or other media to be used for
installation which will now include your own customized images.

    Good luck.

Wow thank you very much, I didn't realize that was a possibility! So to get this straight, I just modify the vmware image in testdrive, then create additional formats using the vmware image?

Well, you modify the image before you make it any format (Xen, KVM,
LiveUSB, vmware, etc.) and then you can have the interface show you
changed files which you then select to keep for the final build that you
use for installs. Remember, SUSE Studio was made for this type of thing
so it has some nice features along this line, and the one is one of the
    coolest in there, I think.

    Good luck.

Can you tell me where the start button image is located? I can't seem to find it.

I don't know any details about actually branding.... sorry. Hopefully
somebody else knows and can chime in, or maybe the KDE/Gnome (depending on
what you're using) docs will have more.

    Good luck.

Hey, I've edited in testdrive and added my edits to application like suggested, what do I do now? It doesn't seem as though it's saving.

Changes made in Testdrive are not automatically saved. You will need to
click on the "Modified files" tab in Testdrive, and then select the
files that you want to add back to the appliance, in the "Files" tab.
These changes will then be in the next build.

    Cheers,
    James T.
