Thread: Install tumbleweed from an ISO?

Default Install tumbleweed from an ISO?

I'm still confused as to how to install or upgrade to tumbleweed. For the most part I see the only way to get to tumbleweed is to install suse 11.4 and then add the tumbleweed repos. Is there any way to do a net install and use just the tumbleweed repo? Or is there a gnome iso that has the tumbleweed repositories, eliminating the need to go from 11.4 to tumbleweed?

No it doesn't. Most of Tumbleweed is 11.4, so I don't see your point. Once you have installed 11.4, it doesn't take much extra time to upgrade to Tumbleweed providing you follow a few instructions. If you don't like upgrading and updating regularly, there is nothing to be gained from running Tumbleweed.

    Why?

Any ISO for TW would be obsolete in weeks.

You clearly don't understand Tumbleweed. It's a dynamic distro.
