    Mm.. i still encounter gnome-shell to crash after i log out and in again.
    It feels like a java problem (it is java based, or?).
    I use the NVidia drivers right now and just did a fresh install.

    In any case, how do i activate the fallback mode if i want it to. I might retreat to that option if it gets to annoying.

    Here some mini specs openSUSE 11.4 x64 and Gnome 3
    Go to System Settings > System Info. In this window, you'll be able to activate - force - Fallback Mode. The next time you login, you'll get gnome 2.X interface

    I am not having any crashes on GNOME 3.X lately

    Must be a GPU problem.
