    Default How to configure Firefox to use jack

    Hello All,
    Does anyone know how to configure Firefox to use jack.

    After I start jack with:

    $ jackd -v -d alsa

    There is no audio coming from firefox when viewing sites like youtube.
    Thanks

    I'm guessing that you are using openSUSE? What version? KDE or Gnome or what DE? I'm also guessing you aren't using PulseAudio, but you are using straight Alsa? Perhaps you could enlighten us.

    I don't know how to configure Firefox to use jack, but here's a clue. What firefox plugin are you normally using to access youtube?

    If your answer is Flash, you can read this: How do I route audio from Flash to JACK? from the jack website. If not, do search that website for yourself, incuding the FAQ there.
