    Is recommended to create a profile in apparmor for applications like amule, firefox, thunderbird, amsn ....?

    For firefox no and as I thing not for other ones.

    Would it be useless to use these applications? Not even for amule?

    The idea is to use AA for daemons. A tool that can read anywhere is
    difficult to confine.

    For script launched at the beginning as one of iptables, nor is it necessary?

    I mean apparmor protect a script from the start as one of iptables or otherwise.

    I still don't understand. Iptables is a security program, I don't see how
    to confine it.

    You can protect any program, but it can become very complex to confine some
    programs.
