Thread: Filezilla bug in 11.4

  1. #1

    Default Filezilla bug in 11.4

When I start I have this message :
Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0".
The program 'filezilla' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
    (Details: serial 30932 error_code 8 request_code 152 minor_code 5)
(extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0" is because I use NVidia driver).
If I want to build from source, I have another error :
../../../src/engine/local_path.cpp: In member function bool CLocalPath::SetPath(const wxString&, wxString*):
../../../src/engine/local_path.cpp:118:23: error: class wxString has no member named GetWriteBuf
../../../src/engine/local_path.cpp:207:9: error: class wxString has no member named UngetWriteBuf
So I'm unable to use Filezilla in 11.4

You'll want to submit a bug in bugzilla (or wherever Filezilla tracks its
    bugs).

Hey, so I've noticed I've got this compilation error as well. Did you file a bug, or find any other solution?

    Hi,

I'm not sure this is a bug (but certainly not a feature...)
I had the same problens compiling this,
the solution I found was not to install
    wxWidgets-devel, but "wxWidgets-wxcontainer-devel".
    so "zypper install wxWidgets-wxcontainer-devel"
    Did the trick for me.

    Hi

I have the same problem with compilation. I installed 'wxWidgets-wxcontainer-devel', but it doesn't resolve this problem.
A listing I got is below:
    g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../src/include -I./../include -I/usr/lib/wx-2.8-wxcontainer/wx/include/gtk2-unicode-release-2.8 -I/usr/include/wx-2.8 -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGE_FILES -D__WXGTK__ -fpch-preprocess -g -O2 -Wall -g -fexceptions -std=gnu++0x -MT libengine_a-local_path.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/libengine_a-local_path.Tpo -c -o libengine_a-local_path.o `test -f 'local_path.cpp' || echo './'`local_path.cpp
local_path.cpp: In member function ‘bool CLocalPath::SetPath(const wxString&, wxString*)’:
local_path.cpp:123:25: error: ‘class wxString’ has no member named ‘GetWriteBuf’
local_path.cpp:214:9: error: ‘class wxString’ has no member named ‘UngetWriteBuf’

    Tomek
