Whenever vlc is running and I try to log out, a KDE window opens and tells me “logout cancelled by vlc”. I have to repeat the process. How do I disable this unwanted “feature”?
What if Thunderbird, Firefox, LibreOffice, Gwenview etc. all decided I shouldn’t log out? Would I have to log out six or seven times?
Doesn’t sound logical to me.

me either…and, looks like a bug to me…and while i doubt the problem
is is in openSUSE’s coding, it may be and if not they can send it

please calm down, I’m trying to understand myself what is going on before I submit a bug report. I added this to the thread as a reference so that people can see that it is not an isolated issue and that we have a bit more to go on before proceeding.
