    Exclamation Running DOS/Windows executable files

yeahp, this is basic, but i need to instal JDownloader, i downloaded as a linux version and this is the command line output (Archive Manager):

    Archive: /root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe
    [/root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe or
/root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe.zip, and cannot find /root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe.ZIP, period.

    As it said
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe or
/root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe.zip, and cannot find /root/Downloads/JDownloader/JDownloader.exe.ZIP, period.
It can not find this directory.

This is not a Linux version. EXE is not a Linux executable file type, as
you indicate in the subject, this is a DOS/Windows executable. Unless
you're using WINE, this program will not run on Linux.

And as Jim said yeahhh it is a windows *.exe file. Linux itself can not run this file, only with a platform you can run it. I do not know if you can run it with wine.

Go to the jdownloader page and download the Linux version - it's a ZIP
    file, not an EXE.
