umounting usb stick ask for root password on 11.4
I've just updated to 11.4 from 11.3.
When i plug a usb stick and the tried to eject it the system ask me for the root pass, with every usb stick. Is it like it for everybody or just for me?
regards

When you plug a USB stick in, after openSUSE has booted, the Device Notifier lets you know of the event and allows a selection of an action. This same notifier, in the system tray includes an eject function to safely remove the device. You should be able to use this without becoming root. Just select the notified and then the eject function.
Thank You,

This not normal at all.
It wasn't like this in 11.3 was it.
Something has gone wrong with your upgrade. I bet if you boot a live cd of 11.4 it doesn't do that, or if you do a new clean install of 11.4 it doesn't do that.

Re: umounting usb stick ask for root password on 11.4
well i've make a workaround.
I've added in /etc/fstab the following:
/dev/disk/by-id/usb-Kingston_DT_101_G2_001CC0EC3456F08075E7131B-0:0-part1 /media/software vfat defaults,noauto,users
then "that" usb stick works fine, the system doesn't mount it automatically, and I can unmount it.
The problem seem to be the automount, when i plug another usb, the system mount it automatically so when i try to unmount it I can't because It's not me who have mounted it.
