How can I watch quicktime movies in Firefox on Opensuse 11.4

    Are you using KDE?

I find it much more tricky to get them working in a plain kde install. I install gnome as default and add the kde pattern. Use the gnome oneclick multi-media and everything works

This is what I get playing that:

I'm running gnome right now though

I haven't been able to pin down the requirement.
But previously I did succeed with kde only, by a hodgepodge of package installation, including just about every gstreamer package + pv and x264

    Check you have:
    gecko-mediaplayer and libquicktime

    And check this
