But sucks is not the right word unless you are talking about cost and atmosphere and not the actual coffee they serve.

    Thank You,
I'm sorry if I offend you in your choice of coffee's. As we all know coffee tastes can be very subjective. I have been dirinking coffee for 40 years now and have had everything from Truckers coffee (in the US truckers coffee has been left on the burner until it has turned to acid) to the real deal Kona. No I'm not worried about the monetary value, many times I have spent $5 US on a small cup of coffee. Starbucks coffee to me has a fake flavor added to it and leaves a bitter after taste. IMO the Canadian chain Tim Horton's is far superior to any Starbuck chain I have encountered. I can not wait for my next tech job to bring me back to Canada so I can enjoy them once again.

I have never been to Starbucks (no lie!), but I prefer small local roasteries anyway. Here in Berlin there's some kind of a serious coffee-scene including various nice shops which all roast their coffee themselves. The coffee often costs two or three times the price of supermarket-coffee, but as I usually do not drink more than two or three cups a day, it's worth it for me.

Favourite every day coffee: Costa Rica SHB, Reserva Presidente - but I try various kinds often.

Never? Yesterday I was in Starbucks in panepistimiou. Before go to Starbucks we were in openFEST festival and we were presenting the openSUSE Hellas(Greek) Community.

Never. I do not mean to appear pesky, but I'd expect a more mainstreamed coffee in such a place. I might be wrong, of course, but once I have tried my first cup of freshly grinded non-blended coffee, I do not wish to go for less - it's just a way different deal than "common" coffee. Also I do not like the typical "new coffee"-stuff such as vanilla-hazelnut aroma or whipped strawberry cream (or whatever they have, I am just guessing here). I prefer it black & simple. :-)

I do still respect people who spend their time in Starbucks, of course.
