    Talking HP ProBook 4520s 11.4 Issue's

    System Spec's
    OpenSuse 11.4 64bit

    • Intel i3 CPU and Graphic's
    • 4 GB of ram
    • Webcam (working)
    • 4 usb ports (working)
    • HDMI (niot Tested
    • E-sata port (not tested)
    • Sound card (working)
    • Card reader (working)
    • RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (working)
    • BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (Working, needed to install bcm drivers)
    • BCM2070 Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (works some times, doesn't seem to load right but that might have something to do with the fact that is shows under lsusb. I need to learn how to reset a usb device)
    Issues
    1. Issue with Bluetooth chip, and it works if I manage to trick it into loading.
    - I just plug-in one of my external usb bluetooth units and then unplug it. Then my internal unit will run until the next boot. I think all I need is a command to refresh a usb devices connection.

    2. Also I am experiencing a udev hang at start-up, if I change the vga option in grub that gets me past it freeze. This happened with the xpress 200 ATI cards, all I needed to do was update Mesa, I will try that again. If anyone has any other idea's let me know.

Bluetooth also fails after the system comes out of sleep.

I have fixed my boot issue(2) by get ride of a second kernel install (default) and sticking with desktop.

Bluetooth now works on startup but still fails after sleep, But that I can live with for now.

I have to say opensuse is working well with my laptop so far.

Hi. I can't use my USB Hub with this laptop (both Linux and Windows). I test my USB Hub in another laptop (sony vaio) and it worked.
