    step back whippersnapper...we used drums mostly, but then we got these
    newfangled modem gadgets....blazing, could move 14.4 kb per
    minute...the earlier ones only about 300 bytes..

    I remember playing diablo on one of those It cost my parents a small fortune and then I got the ban but luckilly the cheat items obtained on battle net were still in my possesion.

    and when the rubber got old they dried out, cracked and let in enough
    room noise to then get REALLY slow...
