Problems with setting up mobile broadband in KDE4?

Than use this instruction:

…to make the GNOME nm-applet work under KDE. With this nm-applet I have set up mobile broadband within couple of seconds.lol!

If the KDE NM fails you, then you can set up broadband mobile modems with the modem configurator in Yast and use the app Kinternet to turn the device on and off, no need to involve Gnome. But hey, whatever works for you, works for you.
