    I have tried it on my machine, which is an i586, and it works fine. So it must be a problem specific to 64 bits, which I am not able to investigate.
    Does it happen for any character class ?

    You can also try vulture-nethack, the graphical inteface.

    Yes, I have try every class, in fact, any key pressed on the class
    selection screen cause the segmentation fault, when I have the time I'll
    recompile and debug it
