Default Any way to disable downloading from multiple servers in ZYpp?

Whenever I do anything in Zypper, there is always a huge lag before it starts downloading a file, but then it downloads at normal speed. I think this has to do with the fact that it is now trying to download from multiple servers, and I would like to turn that off. Where do I go for that?

It's actually not normal speed, it's 200x slower (no exaggeration, ZYpp downloads at 8 Kb/s and everything else at 1.5 Mb/s)

Change the redirector to the actual mirrored addresses.

Or run in a terminal, as root:

    export ZYPP_ARIA2C=0
    zypper whatever

at least, up till 11.3 inc. 11.4 uses something else.qq
