can’t confirm, works fine for me

do you have hal installed? ask because of the directory name ‘/etc/hal/fdi/policy’ - strange since I thought hal was no longer going to be used, though I have it installed and it wasn’t prior to up’ing to 11.4

11.4 64bit

Starting with openSUSE 11.4 and higher hal will no longer be used. It has been deprecated.

However, it is still provided for access in the repositories.

Cheers!

I launched "ntf-config after installing opensuse 11.4, then with operating system clean and free of personalization.

Problem solved with latest updates.

After installing hal package from “add/remove programms” everything works fine. Thx
