Thread: Problems with gtk?

  1. #1

    Default Problems with gtk?

In gnome, gtk themes tend to have this problem where there are random lines in the themes that are not supposed to be there.

Here is a shot of it:

When I switch to clearlooks, this still happens.

In the window list, there are two thick lines on the top and to the left. You can also see these in nautilus where my mouse is. Sorry about that.

I have same problem and it happened after installing nvidia driver from nvidia repo, i think cairo is the problem see => cairo 1.10.10 causing rendering problems with GTK2 wigets - nV News Forums ,
found also a bug report https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679039.

To use "nouveau" driver instead of "nvidia" one can edit /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf and change "blacklist nouveau" to "blacklist nvidia"
