Thread: My CD labels... demand?

    Default My CD labels... demand?

    Hi folks,
Just curious what the demand is for me to make some new labels for 11.4
(previous ones can be seen here:
http://vintagepc.site50.net/site/stuff/portfolio.php NOTE: server is down for maintenance ATM)

I'm quite busy at the moment with school, but if a lot of people want, I can try to squeeze in time to make them.

It is hard to judge just what everyone wants, but I did use yours last time and will do so again. If you have a label system, you can put it on at a later date from making the openSUSE disk, which is what I did. So, while I am somewhat lazy on making disk labels, I do use and appreciate the effort of others. School work always comes first, so work us in as you have the time and thank you for your efforts.

    Thank You,

Thanks, glad to hear you liked them. We'll see how the timing works out... worst case you'll only have to wait 5 weeks until the semester is over

I typically burn my openSUSE-11.4 GM versions to printable CD/DVDs, and then try to find the best 11.4 pattern I can to print direct on to the CDs/DVDs. I use gimp for printing.

Just hacked my printer to do the same. Alas, all my systems are nicely configured, and zypper dup/high speed internet (had dial-up until last june) eliminates the need for any install media. Maybe I'll burn a few for friends to show off my labels when I make them.

Update: the server is now back up and running, for those of you wondering what my labels looked like.
Also, I borked up the link. It should be:

I really like these labels and have used them for the 11.2 and 11.3 releases. They look great on a lightscibe disc.

I'm sure anyone reading this has figured it out already, but I've made the labels and you can get them here: http://vintagepc.site50.net/site/ind...uff/portfolio/

(Sorry I messed it up in the first post.)
