Thread: mminfo anyone?

  1. #1

    Default mminfo anyone?

Over yonder at Ubuntu Forums, there's a discussion on sorting mp3 files into directories. Some awesome person has supplied a bash script that (looks like it) could work well. But it uses some program called mminfo, which I can't find anywhere. This thread is only a month old, so mminfo must be available somewhere. But a google search for mminfo doesn't turn up all that much.

Here's the link: [ubuntu] A Bash Script to Organize Music - Ubuntu Forums

    Thanks all.

The program mminfo is in mmpython and kaa-metadata.
Sadly these packages aren't in the default repositories.

You could install them from the OBS using the Software Search.

Or compile the from source if you know how.

    Good luck!
Where did I put my coffee cup?
    dir -R /home/* | grep "coffee cup"
