Default Openshot 1.3 won't run after upgrade

I upgraded Openshot (Video editor) from the Packman repo last night to ver 1.3.0.
When trying to run i get this error:
    Code:
    --------------------------------
       OpenShot (version 1.3.0)
    --------------------------------
    -------------------------------------------------------
Error: OpenShot has not been installed in the Python path.
(Both the site-packages and /usr/share/openshot folders were checked)

Use the following command to install OpenShot:
      $ sudo python setup.py install
After checking other forums, i believe this error is misleading, because it might not be an Openshot installation problem but rather a dependency issue. But then again. i could be wrong.

I verified that all the decencies are met, I uninstalled and installed again.
I erased the .openshot folder, but no solution.

Has anybody found a solutions ?

    thanks

ver 1.3 was updated less than 24 hours ago. And in yast there is no option to downgrade. Also the 1.2 version package was taken off the website so there is no real way to downgrade.

Looks like there should be an update there by now.

I am having the same problem with version 6.1 which is brand new as of
today. Also Yast complains that nothing provides frei0r-plugin needed
    by openshot.

I saw a demo of openshot at the Scale Expo in Los Angeles last weekend
and wanted to try it out. The openshot web site has installers for
Ubuntu and Fedora but no openSUSE. Hopefully it will get fixed but I do
not know who I should report the errors to.

Oh yes !! it's a great, easy to use video editor. i've been using it for a while now, editing any video - from downloaded youtube to HD from a Flip camera. and then upload again to Youtube or run it from a computer.
A great piece of software. I was also in the Scale expo two weeks ago and was very happy to meet Jonathan Thomas, the creator of Openshot in person.
