Default taskjuggler - Open Source Project Management

Is there any reason why taskjuggler is not included in openSUSE?
I can see a version available in openSUSE Factory but it is not built with latest libs.

I have several of my friends asking for Project Management software under openSUSE and I don't know what to advise them.

Yea, there are so many. Anybody has any recommendations based on their experience?

    I use TaskCoach.
While It may not be as full featured as what you may be used to, it is still a GREAT piece of software.
Feature list seems comparable to taskjuggler.

Win|Lin|Mac versions too. OpenSUSE version here...

I can't work without it but I am trying taskjuggler too.

The full name is 'planner' (without the apostrophes) and it is in one of the standard repositories (standard/tumbleweed/gnome:apps). Mind you, at one time Openproj was in repositories (11.1)....maybe its in pacman, which I don't have enabled, these days. Edit: in contrib, apparently.

Yea, I found it too. I was always looking for KDE based ones.
Openproj is in the openSUSE:11.3:Contrib repo. I downloaded from its website. It has some annoyance and I have to click some of their 'marketing prompts' at times. If the licencing terms allow me to modify and use the code, I may try modifying it.
