Sorry I used you link and just checked the opensuse version and not the
    name there.
Changed it now but then this is the result is the same when I start
    it.
    Hi
What you need to do is switch all the packages to the ones in my
repository. I YaST software management, select in the dropdown the
'Repository' view, then highlight my repository, there is then an option
to switch the installed packages to the ones in my repository.

Else, manually go through the my list back a few posts and install the
    ones from my repository...

    Hi Malcolm

Tried it just now and it worked perfectly. Thanks for all the help, will now work with it and have fun.

I also just installed the garmin tools and Pytrainer on a 32 bit installation and it instantly worked, But now it's working on 64 bit so i'm happy

    Hi
Excellent, I didn't realize that someone else on OBS had branched my
package and updated it to some development version. Otherwise I would
have asked you to look for my user name

    Hi Malcolm,

I got everything running but I'm not able to get the training results to Pytrainer.
When I'm in Pytrainer I can choose for GPSbabel and garmintools and when i choose them the watch is telling transfer ready but I can see these updates in the program.

What can I do to get the data in Pytrainer without importing from Windows version with the Trainingcenter file?

    Thanks, Gert-Jan

    Hi
I found I only needed garmintools, is the data on the Forerunner? You need to also set the date range? AFAIK, if it's on the device, it should import.

    I can't find the option
    I the plugin I selected:
    not older days 40
    Max_gap_seconds 1

I also added my device as Equipment but nothing comes in.

I see the watch reacting when I try to import. He's giving twice transfer ready and by the second time i can do something with pytrainer.

Is there a place where i can find something about the first time use?

    Hi
The 'not older' option, our one had some data from 2009 so set the days
to 800. I just hooked it up, ran the import and waited... then all the
    data was there?

What if you mv the ~/.pytrainer directory then try again?
    Code:
    mv ~/.pytrainer ~/backup_pytrainer

I have the same problem. I could correct the error "RuntimeError: module compiled against API version 6 but this version of numpy is 4" by installing numpy-2.0.0-dev8145-1.1. Pytrainer is launched, but when I import from GPS device (via garmintools), the forerunner watch shows a message saying the transfer is complete. But it is not imported to pyTrainer. I had some data stored from the time I used pyTrainer on Kubuntu, and they were imported well.

FYI, here is how I could bypass the problem. I installed QLandkarteGT as well as QLandkarteGT-driver-garmin. From QLandKarteGT, I successfully imported the gpx files. I exported the tracks one at the time, but the date/time of the tracks was set at the time of the export instead of time of the training. I corrected them in kwrite. I imported the gpx in pyTrainer and everything was fine there.
