Default Where is educational software for 11.2?

    Education repositories - openSUSE

lists repositories for 10.2 and 10.3 and promises 11.1 eventually. 11.2 isn't even mentioned. Where can I find programs that teach spelling, arithmetic, biology, etc.?

Under Education repositories - openSUSE there is "Development Repositories" which appears to have repos for 11.2 and 11.3 but read the warning from that page:
These repositories are recommended for developers and testers only. Packages in these repositories change often and can be broken. So be warned!

    That looks great! Thanks!

But I have one question. Do I add this file (URL) to my list of repositories, or do I add a subdirectory of this file (e.g., "i586")?

I read the Package Management guide, but it doesn't tell me what a repository is supposed to look like, so I don't know what to look for in the file you gave me.

I vaguely recall an "education" section on the 10.2 installation dvd. I don't recall seeing this section on 11.2. Maybe I missed something, or maybe it has been pushed off because of size constraints. If the latter, it's a shame, because there's a lot of terrific software there that people may not know about.

You can just add that URL to your list of repositories either in YaST -> Software Repositories or with zypper:
    Code:
sudo zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Education/openSUSE_11.2/ education
    Then
    Code:
    sudo zypper refresh
a to accept the key for that repo.
