Thread: Embedded image viewing problems in Konqueror

Default Embedded image viewing problems in Konqueror

    Hi All,

I use OpenSUSE 11.3+KDE and I set Konqueror as my file manager, since I got used to it for some years.
My problem is that I cannot use the embedded image viewing feature of Konqueror as I could previously (KDE 3.5). Now i left click on an image and ok, it appears properly, but then I move to the next image. First I have to navigate back and then click onto the next image, which is quite inconvenient. . . do you know where to set this?

I'd be interested in a solution as well, for it is indeed very inconvenient. There used to be buttons for moving to the next image and back, but they seem to be gone. This is weird, since buttons for zooming images are still there.

I was just thinking the very same. It shouldn't be too hard to add this.

Since my English is full of flaws and annoying imperfections, do you want to submit such a request?

If you right click on the image and select Gwenview, you can see all the images in the folder and navigate through them; perhaps the developers decided to leave Gwenview to supply the functionality that used to be in Konqueror 3.5.

Perhaps, but it makes sense to restore a useful feature in the file manager and negate the requirement to use another tool unnecessarily.
