Thread: kwallet at startup

    Default kwallet at startup

I want kwallet to start with KDE so it appears in the systray (?) with the battery, volume, clipboard, etc. applications. I thought this would be under Start->Configure Desktop->System Administration->Startup and Shutdown, but this appears to have no effect.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    System settings>(Advanced)>Autostart?

Not tried it but it looks promising.

(Configure Desktop suggests you are using a different version of KDE from mine but look for Autostart)

open the wallet application, right click on its icon, select
"Configure Wallet" then in the popup and find the section "Close
Wallet", UNcheck all options there and click "Apply"..

then the wallet should still be open when you shut down your machine,
and therefore open the next time you start..

Be it ever so humble, there is no place like 127.0.0.1.
