    Default Image compressing

Im wondering, is there any linux image compresser that could compress a whole folder at a time??

I know GIMP can compress 1 at a time, but that would take me ages.

A GUI interface would be my preference, but if not meh

    Thanks

Digikam can do batch operations. Fire it up, and then from the "Tools" menu chose "Batch Queue Manager." Or, select a number of images and add them to said manager via context menu.

Also Gwenview, in the Plugins>Batch processing>recompress menu option.
