Default how compile and boot opensuse111.3 with kernel: "mainline: 2.6.37" ?

At this time use opensuse11.3 (all as deafult).
In this place The Linux Kernel Archives read about new kernel:
    stable: 2.6.37 2011-01-05

How compile and boot opensuse11.3 with this new kernel ?

I think the easiest way to get the most recent kernel might be to add the following repository and then opt to upgrade your kernel version.

    Index of /repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_11.3/x86_64

The only thing I do not like about kernel Head is that when version 2.6.38 starts to come out as pre-release, kernel 2.6.37 will disappear, so get it while you can. I also have a very nice script file called SAKC that allows you to compile the most recent kernel no matter what the version might be which can be downloaded from The Linux Kernel Archives. Message #17 has the most recent version of SAKC:

    S.A.K.C. - SUSE Automated Kernel Compiler - Version 2.00

If you read through the thread, you will find I also post another script I call KLIST to simplify the startup of SAKC in finding the kernel version you have downloaded. If you happen to use the nVIDIA video driver, I have another script that can help you reload the video driver, the hard way, if you need to and message #12 has the most recent version shown:

LNVHW - Load NVIDIA (driver the) Hard Way from runlevel 3

If you don't know how to do it, then don't.

Or you could try HEAD or KOTD.
