I haven’t used Amarok in quite a few months. today, when I used it, I noticed that there are no Shoutcast streams listed anymore. Why? Amarok used to have the streams listed. I’m very glad that I had saved my most favorite stream before this happened [XRM Alternative]
I’m using SuSE 11.2 and I have it up to date so far and I’m using Amarok Version 2.1.1

you can install “SHOUTcast Service tralala” via the script manager (tools
-> script manager -> get more scripts). after installing the above
mentioned script, you have to restart amarok, then go to script manager
again and enable the shoutcast script. works fine for me (amarok 2.3.90 on
KDE 4.6 RC1 / openSUSE 11.4).

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been trying to remember for a long time
how to get Shoutcast back, I knew it was possible. I just installed it
as outlined. Works great.
Amarok 2.3.2
