gnome full screen

Hi there,

just wondering whether there is a sure method that someone can confirm that works, that enables a full screen mode in Gnome.

I was previously able to do this via the KDE menu.

The main purpose for this, was to get mplayer working in full screen mode when watching my media links.

I am now unable to do this since switching to gnome.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

man mplayer.

Hint: search for “fullscreen”.

I don’t use GNOME, but I must assume that mplayer still works the same. You can right click on the player window and select Fullscreen. When you select the Maximize button on the top right, it will then go full screen. Second, you can right click on the screen and select preferences (or press the wrench on the player left). In Preferences, go to the Misc. Tab and you can check “Start in fullscreen” if you wish.

Thank You,
