Thread: Chromium Extension Cookie File

  1. #1

    Default Chromium Extension Cookie File

I had an extension i started making and had loaded in Chromium. Well i forgot to unload it and deleted the files for it. Well now Chromium crashes on startup saying it can't find the manifest file for it. How can i remove the entry for that in the extension cookies file?

Well right at the moment i'm running chrome coz chromium crashes on start...it says it's because of that missing extension manifest

    Code:
    ron@linux-mhhq:~> chromium
[25639:25639:55273968199:ERROR:chrome/browser/extensions/extension_error_reporter.cc(55)] Extension error: Could not load extension from '/home/ron/Desktop/Flash Cookie Extension'. Manifest file is missing or unreadable.

Look again in your home folder
    View hidden files
Can you see a folder 'config' and in that 'chromium'

    rename chromium to chromium-old
