I have a problem with pointer icon. When I hover pointer on application (Mozilla, Dolphin, Skype, Kopete) pointer icon get corrupted.

How to solve this anoying problem?

Could be a video driver problem, could just be a corrupt icon image
file. I’ve even seen some corruption similar to this with an overheating
video card.
When the image does what you’re seeing, does it change while you move the
cursor around, or does it just look like that when you move it around?
If it changes, that points to either hardware or video driver issues
IME. If it doesn’t, it may be as simple as finding the cursor image file
and recopying it from installation media.

Corrupted image is characteristic for every application when I hover pointer on. For Kopete, it looks like on this foto. On other application looks different, but corrupted also. I use this repo for graphic drivers. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/openSUSE_11.3/X11:XOrg.repo
I have an ATi Radeon 4870 and I use opensource drivers because with proprietary drivers I have a video tearing problem which is very anoying, especially when I watch video files. With opensource default drivers (without adding X11 repo) my KDE works very slow.

I guess I wasn’t completely clear - when you move the cursor over an
application, does the image stay the same (but move around), or do you
see it changing as you move it over a single application? (Might be
something like individual pixels changing/turning off and on).

I’d start, then, by checking out the image file for the pointer - perhaps
someone who’s more familiar with KDE can point you at the directory where
those images are stored.
