    Default firefox saved passwords bug

On the website GOG.com , firefox won't save the passwords for the login window. If anyone can fix it or find a workaround, post here.

it may not be a bug...there are many sites that intentionally will not
cause the browser to auto-fill the login credentials..

Also check that the website is not being blocked firefox's password exception list:

Edit -> Preferences -> Security -> Exceptions (in the password section)

Not all username and password forms are detected. Firefox uses a heuristic to detect these, but if the site calls it something weird, like for example, membership id and PIN, then the heuristic fails. Also some sites use Javascript popups for the form, those are sometimes not detected.

For this website, it's not a good idea to have it fill in the passwords for security reasons, now that I think about it. Thanks for the info.

You can blacklist particular sites from autofill.
