I have the “publishing” repo enabled. Today I received an update to texlive (to version 2010-37.1) and almost all the documentclasses disappeared! Not even the article documentclass is available!
Any idea?

EDIT: I forgot to mention I’m using openSUSE 11.2 64 bits.
No idea: I have had the same update and all the classes are in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/. The article class is in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/ on my system.
After you have checked that you are looking for them in the right directory, it may be worth forcing a reinstall.
Today I had another update and now everything seems to work Ok. Anyway, thanks!
