    Default unable to start IDLE

Hello, I recently installed python-idle in order to have an IDE for python. However, I cannot find it anywhere in the menu, and also through the terminal it is not recognized. Does anyone know what I have to do?

    Thanks in advance, Frank

Default AW: unable to start IDLE

That depends on the desktop environment you use. The way to create menu entries/desktop symbols differs.
Are you using gnome or kde or some other DE?

I already got it to work using Control Panel - Main menu (only thing I have to do now is search for a nice svg icon.)

    Thanks a lot, Frank

Sorry that I could not answer earlier (was away for work) but glad you found
the way to create the way to create your starter.
Maybe you can use a icon from the python homepage or something from
    wikipedia
