Community Repository on version 11.3

Hi, does anyone know why there is no Community Repository option on YaST (Software Repositories)? I am trying to install XBMC (Packman).

Can i use local as an alternative?

Hi raptorfx,

Googling “packman xbmc” gave me this as the first choice: PackMan :: Package details for XBMC

It’s how I installed the excellent XBMC

Thanks guys… I think I have know what the issue is (i am extremely wet behind the ears with Linux never mind OpenSuse) but havent yet tested my theory.

Could it be that i am not connected to the internet when doing the add repository?

Obviously you need to be connected to the internet
Are you saying you are NOT

Hey… puzzled penguine should say something… I kind of feel like a ****.

Still trying to get my vodafone usb hsdp sorted (see my other post)…ps…thanks to the reply thereto… need to try it at home (after work) to see what Isusb brings back.

What does Isusb do anyway?

It tells me if the system has picked up the device
It will list usb devices

Cool…thanks… will do
