does anyone know where to find linux sampler rpm package for openSUSE 11.3 i586 ?
Haven’t found any linuxsampler rpm’s later than the 11.1 packages (Sep 2009). Did you try those on 11.3?
The latest is for openSUSE 11.2 see

But I could not install it message wrong version .
Interesting, as I have an older system still running 11.2. I assumed you would have covered packman, so didn’t look there. The 11.1 version was a download from Linux Sampler Project website.
Yes I have also looked on linuxsampler site.
A webpin search here for linuxsampler and 11.3 had no results, whereas the same for 11.2 and 11.1 found the packman packages. Doesn’t look hopeful.
That’s unfortunate just upgraded my system from 11.2 to 11.3 .

Got it working:
Installed first qsampler from opensuse search.
Then installed linuxsampler from The Linux Sampler Project
Now I can start qsampler
Linuxsampler is automatically starting in the backend.
